Information for Tenants

We offer a full range of services to help you find the right property and make renting that property as simple as possible. We work with landlords all over Nottinghamshire and surrounds offering properties to let. The properties we manage on behalf of our landlords are clean, tidy and well maintained.

We are a small agency who gets to know our tenants, and we pride ourselves on taking care of the people in our properties. That means we are fast to respond to repairs and maintenance issues, will always try to find the best solutions for tenants and landlords and value long term tenancies and relationships, if we treat you well, we hope you’ll stay a tenant of ours for a long time.

We are a Property Redress Scheme member, all tenant deposits are held with the Deposit Protection Service, and we ensure that all properties we manage comply with current rules and regulations including licensing if required from the Local Authority.

You may apply to rent any of our properties, a holding fee equal to one week’s rent is taken at application to hold the property off the market while your application is processed. This holding fee is deducted from any rent due for a successful application.

All tenancies are subject to referencing checks which will include a credit search, affordability/employment reference, former landlords reference and where required proof of right to live in the UK. We do not discriminate against any tenant types so welcome applications from those in receipt of benefits, however, in some cases where your only source of affordability is universal credit or local housing allowance we may require a guarantor over the tenancy, please ask us for more information.

The majority of our properties accept pets by default, please just ask when you’re viewing.

We ofer an initial 6 month tenancy for most properties, however, longer terms are available on request.
